他们急于让克莱斯勒成为国际性公司，因此竞买下了欧洲已经不具有任何实力的汽车公司，例如法国的西姆卡汽车公司和英国的鲁斯特汽车公司，他们都没有任何影响力。在进军国际市场的过程中，克莱斯勒经常上当。
